Terms & Conditions
Hours of business
We are open for boarding collections and drop-offs by prior arrangement from 8am to 6pm. Our gates will be kept locked between appointments, so please let us know in advance if you need to change your time of arrival.
Whilst we always try to reply to emails, messages, and calls as quickly as possible, please don’t expect a response outside our standard business hours. All enquiries will be dealt with as soon as we can.
Belongings
You are encouraged to bring your dog’s favourite blanket and washable toys to help them feel happy and at ease in their holiday home. We prefer that you don’t bring soft toys or soft fluffy beds.
Whilst we will endeavour to take the greatest care, we accept no responsibility for loss or damage to customer belongings. Please make sure your dog is wearing a collar with ID tag and a lead on arrival.
Food
We encourage owners to bring their own food to avoid changes to your dog’s usual diet and potential upset stomachs. Fresh or frozen food will be stored in a designated fridge/freezer. Please label all food with your dog’s name.
Please don’t bring food or water bowls unless your dog requires a specific type (e.g. a slow feeder).
Exercising dogs
Dogs from the same household will be walked and exercised together. We limit socialising with other dogs for safety and to allow more individual attention.
No dogs leave the site whilst boarding and none are left unattended outside their kennel. Dogs are exercised four times a day.
Your dog may return from outdoor play dirty — they will be rinsed and dried, but we do not offer grooming services.
Photography and filming
Unless otherwise instructed, we may photograph your dog during their stay for marketing and website purposes. Neither your name nor your pet’s name will be revealed.
These images remain our property, but you may request a copy.
Bookings
To make a booking, complete the booking form ensuring all fields are filled in. You must provide an emergency contact who can collect your dog if needed.
Bookings are only confirmed once you receive confirmation from us and have paid the required deposit.
Payments & deposits
Payments can be made by BACS or cash. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid in advance or at the latest when dropping off your dog.
We reserve the right to cancel bookings if payment is not made.
Deposits are non-transferable but refundable if cancelled more than 14 days before arrival (a small admin fee may apply).
Fees are charged daily. A full day is charged for both arrival and departure days. If your dog is collected early, the full booking cost still applies.
Your dog’s health
Your dog must be in good health and have up-to-date vaccinations. You must provide a veterinary record confirming vaccinations for:
Canine parvovirus
Canine distemper
Canine adenovirus / infectious canine hepatitis
Leptospirosis
Kennel cough
Dogs must be microchipped, wormed, and treated for fleas (no spot-on treatments). Treatment details must be provided.
If treatment is required on arrival, this will be charged to the owner.
You must inform us of any health or behavioural issues at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to refuse:
Sick dogs
Dogs with behavioural issues
Aggressive dogs or dangerous breeds
Bitches in season (or due to be)
If a bitch comes into season during their stay, they will be removed and full charges will still apply.
Any vet costs for pre-existing conditions are the responsibility of the owner.
Shared accommodation
We require written permission to house pets from the same household together.
If pets need to be separated for safety reasons, additional accommodation charges will apply.
Insurance
Insurance is provided for kennel-related illness or injury during the stay.
If an issue is deemed not kennel-related, costs are the owner’s responsibility.
Exclusions include:
Pre-existing conditions
Injury between your own pets
Costs exceeding the insurance limit must be paid by the owner.
For stays longer than 31 days, additional insurance charges apply monthly.
Booking confirmation and contract
A contract is formed once we confirm your booking by email and you pay the deposit.
We do not take provisional bookings.
If we cannot accept your booking, any payments made will be refunded in line with our cancellation policy.
By booking with us, you agree to these terms.
Cancellations and amendments
Changes must be made at least 14 days before the booking start date.
Cancellations within 14 days of arrival are charged in full.
Cancellations must be made by email (phone calls are not accepted).
Force Majeure
We recommend taking out appropriate insurance for unforeseen circumstances.
If we must cancel due to events beyond our control, your payment will be refunded in full. However, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Kennels viewings
Viewings are by appointment only after completing a pre-booking questionnaire.
Access may be limited to reduce stress for boarding dogs. Virtual tours are available on request.
Abandoned animals
We reserve the right to rehome animals not collected within 14 days of the departure date, after attempts to contact the owner.
All associated costs will be charged to the owner.
Privacy policy
Your information will be kept on record only for business purposes and will not be used for unrelated contact.
